By registering for this event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Health Declaration

You represent that, to the best of your knowledge, you do not have any health conditions that would put you (or your child, if applicable) at increased risk if you participate in these events. If you have any doubts about your (or your child’s) ability to participate safely, you agree to consult with a healthcare provider before registering for this event.

Right to Deny or Remove

MYGD reserves the right to deny entry or remove any individual from the event at any time for any reason, at its sole discretion.

Waiver of Liability

You understand that participating in MYGD events carries inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, and property damage. You hereby voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in these events and release MYGD, its employees, volunteers, and agents, and the Islamic Association of Greater Detroit (IAGD) and its employees, volunteers, and agents, from any and all liability for any injuries, damages, or losses that you or your child (if applicable) may incur as a result of your participation.

Media Release

You grant MYGD and its affiliates the right to use your name, image, and likeness (and the name, image, and likeness of your child, if applicable) in any and all media for promotional, advertising, or any other purposes without compensation. You understand that you have no right to review or approve any materials that may be used.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MYGD, its employees, volunteers, and agents, and the Islamic Association of Greater Detroit (IAGD) and its employees, volunteers, and agents, from any and all claims, damages, or expenses that may arise as a result of your or your child’s (if applicable) participation in these events.

Refund Policy

MYGD does not offer refunds for event registration fees due to the high volume of event participants and the need to plan and prepare accordingly. By registering for this event, you understand and agree that your registration fee is non-refundable.

By registering for this event, you confirm that you have read and understood this waiver and media release and that you are 18 years of age or older (or have obtained the consent of a parent or guardian). Your registration for this event constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
